According to an old Arabic adage “a healthy mind dwells in a healthy body”. It is an agreed fact that sports are pivotal to the development of a healthy body and environment. Sensing the importance of the sports in an academic milieu, the University of Chitral has setup a separate Directorate of sports to: -
• Promote sportsmanship among its students
• Discover untapped talents in the youth
• Polish and refine the talents of the students
• Foster a healthy and competitive environment among the youth
• Facilitate students participating in sports events both at local and national level
